Of course! I want to make sure that you’re able to print any of your photos to a high quality. They will all be hi-res JPEG ready to print
There are a few important things to consider. The first is to determine your style and think about what you’re looking for in your photographer. It’s important to feel comfortable with your photographer on your wedding day and that they’re honest and transparent with you about what can and can’t be done. You have to love their style of photos and have trust in
their direction and choices. We produce our best work when we are trusted to do our thing!
I shoot about 90% documentary style on the day as I want to the photos to reflect you and the special moments. It is my job to find the nice lighting and framing so there will be some directing/prompting when needed but besides that I make it comfortable and fun, which I think is really reflected in my work. I will give you tips throughout the day to help you get the
most out of your photography package, and also the day in the general as it flies by. My priority is that you enjoy your day with your family and friends and I capture every moment I can. And if you’re feeling any kind of ‘we are not photo people’ kinda thoughts don’t let that worry you for a moment, I got you!
You know it! My home is filled with albums of our travels, milestones & soon wedding. I truly believe there is no better way to keep your images alive and give them life. Albums start at $1500. Link to my album info here 🙂
Printing has been made so easy through my online print shop which is connected to your online gallery – la de da, I know! Pretty proud of it. The gallery is connected to one of Australia’s best printing labs Atkins. Once selected and paid for the prints are sent directly to your door. If you choose to use another printer there are many around however we suggest a professional printer such as the Fred snow or Fitzgeralds. No exit through the gift shop but some real talk- buying through my online print shop is a great way to support small biz!

Yes! I absolutely loooveee to travel and it can be arranged very easily! Just let me know the details and we can discuss further. I travel all about Western Australia and shoot about 90% of my weddings in the South-West Margaret River region.
Definitely. I think it’s essential at any wedding to get some great images with your family on the day to look back on in the future. It helps everyone to feel included in your special day and means that no one is missed out – it only takes around half an hour or so, but it is always worth it. I’d generally suggest providing a list ahead of time to ensure no one is forgotten in the excitement of the day.
Most images you’ll see in my portfolio are in the evening at around sunset, at a time known as ‘Golden Hour’. I can make the most of any available light source, but from years of experience I find couples love the photos taken at this time the most. I help with scheduling in our initial phone chat to help you work out the best way to get the most of the day & not leave your guests for too long and still be able to shoot at this light. Summer can be tricky as sunset is late but there are ways around this we can discuss. Aside from being a wedding photographer – I was also an events planner & wedding co-ordinator at a wedding venue my family owned since I was 16. So my scheduling approach is all rounded thinking of all aspects of the day not just photos. A lot of venues and vendors have a very copy and paste schedule which does not take into consideration things like if you are getting a good enough time actually enjoying your day or the right time of day for your portraits.
If you book with Ayzia Jade Photography, you can be sure I’ll be the one taking photos at your wedding. I don’t subcontract out your wedding to other photographers unless of sickness. Western Australia has the strongest network of photographers- so if cover is ever needed I have the worlds biggest list to cover me if disaster should strike. We call this an associate shooter & I choose a photographer with a great demeanour and also similar shooting style. Then I edit to my editing style.
Second Shooters – I have a range of second shooters who I work with. So it will be myself and my second shooter epending on if you booked a package with one.
For privacy reasons I choose not to share full galleries – but a good stalk of my instagram, website + blog will give you a decent insight into my style! View my blog here.
I don’t believe there is any substitute for experience like the experience I have received in shooting weddings for 16 plus years. This prepares you for moments and being able to work with anything that arrises on your day. I do have a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Majoring in Photography. I do like to take one to two courses a year so that I am always growing and learning new tricks with the camera & taking on challenges.
