Q. How do I choose a Wedding Photographer?
A. Here’s a few important things to think about: The first thing to do is determine your style and what you’re looking for in a photographer. If you think you’ve found someone capable of this, have a conversation with them to see if they’re right for you. It’s important to feel comfortable with your photographer on your wedding day and that they’re transparent with you about what can and can’t be done.
Q. We feel you’re the photographer for the job! How do we book you for our wedding?
A.You guys are awesome! The best way is to confirm I’m available that day by using the contact form on my website, or just by giving me a call on: 0434 161 482. I’ll do my best to respond within 24 hours. From there, we’ll lock in the date with a deposit and contract. To try and take the pressure off your wallet, all weddings are placed on a payment plan of four instalments.
Q. How many photos will I get?
A.I don’t limit the number of photos that I give to my clients, and will try to give you the maximum amount of great images from the day. This often varies depending on the type and style of your wedding and the shooting period in your package. Feel free to ask me more about this and I can explain the process I follow when shooting.
Q. Will I receive good quality images?
A.Of course. I want to make sure that you’re able to print any of your photos to a high quality. They will all be hi-res JPEG and TIFF images.
Q. Are you willing to travel?
A.Yes! I absolutely loooveee to travel, and can make it super easy for you. Just let me know the details and we can discuss further.
Q. Do you take family photos on the day?
A. Definitely. I think it’s essential to get some great images with your family on the day. It helps everyone to feel included in your special day and means that no one is missed out – it only takes around half an hour or so, but is always worth it. I’d generally suggest providing a list ahead of time to ensure no one is forgotten in the excitement of the day.
Q. What’s the best time of day for bridal photos?
A. Most images you’ll see in my portfolio are in the evening at around sunset, or a time known as ‘Golden Hour’. I can make the most of any available light source, but from years of experience I find Brides love the photos taken around this time the most.
Q. Who will be photographing our wedding?
A.If you book with Ayzia Jade Photography, you can be sure I’ll be the one taking photos at your wedding. I don’t subcontract out your wedding to other photographers, but if a second shooter is required, this can be arranged for a small fee. If you’d like to see an extended gallery that shows the range of images I capture on the day, just let me know.
Q. What qualifications do you have?
A. More than 10 years of experience as a wedding photographer and a Bachelor of Fine Arts; Majoring in Photography.
Q. Do you have backup equipment?
A. Absolutely! I always make sure to have backup equipment to ensure I’ve got your back, no matter what.
Q. Can we have a list of references?
A. Feel free to take a look at my testimonials on my Facebook page, and if you’d like, I can put you in touch with a previous Bride whose wedding I was lucky enough to shoot.
Q. Do you make Wedding Albums?
A.You know it! There’s no better way to display your special day. Just let me know if you’d be interested in getting an album included in your package. Prices start at just $380.
